Meet me in the stars!

A few updates of new images and works in progress. First is an embodiment, this one is called Creation, he who is the one that gives birth to worlds, and life, so that he may study all new things that grow and evolve.
Then a new piece that is spinning off from the series of Embodiments. It's a breed of adventure told through prose accompanied by a single image to help shape the audiences view of these worlds and adventure. The Wanderer is a mix of John Carter of mars and the Silver Surfer. These are process photos of the piece so check em out and I'll post a photo of it as soon as it's done.

After this it's gesso'd and penciled again.


Also don't forget if you are in the Chicago area this weekend come on down to the Chicago Comic-Con at the Donald E. Stevens Convention Center, a ton of great guest, and a ton of great people to see in Artists Alley including me, Jodi Hoover, and Jesse Nelson who are sharing a table together. Come Friday let the fun begin!

Fumes and Screens and Fun

Sooooooooooo, after a venue change, and some excitement, we got the posters done for this friday's show. It is now at the Double Door in Chicago. I hope to see you guys there. It'll be like a party, a party of awesome. It's a set of 15 prints and they will be sold at the show for $10. It was all in a day's work.Made of some nice paper, spray paint, and silkscreens. Most importantly love!

There's a plastic tree...

Modi created another poster for the band Northpilot. If you are in Chicago on the 30th go check them out. If you haven't heard them yet here they are. Enjoy the image, prints will be sold at the show and at Comic-Con and other festivals we will do.

The final poster in the series I'm making for the Alien films. This is Alien 3.

Game over

Another digital image and a simplified reimagining of the sequel to Alien, Aliens. Sketched out the idea in thumbnails then I worked magic with the pen tool. It was an experiment in patience, but luckily the images turned out great. Enjoy it guys!

No one can hear you scream

I'm starting to re-imagine posters for classic movies. Here is a rework of one of my favorites. It is completely digital and I am trying to keep them very simplistic and still interesting. I think I've accomplished this.
