Shaped like an Hour Glass

More practice with inking. Trying to keep the loose yet tight style that my pieces have. So far translating well. So first here is a personal favorite, The Phantom, and then a small sketch of Spidey.

After that i sketched out an older version of Snake from MGS4 to go with the younger version i drew at an earlier date. So here we are Snake age 30-40 then Snake age 50-60.

A Satchel Filled With Vials

Here I am, still practicing inking without pencils. Seems to be working out.

And here is another treat! I have a Plan to redo some of the Batman: A Death In The Family Covers. Here is a quick sketch of an idea i have.Merry ChrisHanukwazaa,

Figure Out How It Works

So with all of the freetime i kind of get in school with my extended breaks between classes i find
that i can sketch bigger and with watercolor. Prettier even? Also my teacher had lent me a comic called "Modesty Blaise", so now I have to check it out and read more of those comics and books. Its like a female version of James Bond with out the gadgets and all bad ass and sexy. Also, I was told by my teacher that the artist(Jim Holdaway) for the comic strip never did pencils for them he just went in with a nib and began drawing. Every strip was as strong as the last. So it was a method that really worked for the artist. I'm going to be trying that more again and the sketches I'm putting have no pencils to begin with i just went in with ink, nib, and a brush. I think they came out pretty strong. So looking back at these, I had a lot of fun doing them. So i think I'm going to approach some bigger pieces this way. Christmas time is coming and all of the holiday shopping is over. Woohoo.
After that I want to show you something, I had become obsessed with this ridiculous movie over night and I want to share it with you. The name of the movie is MACHINE GIRL and believe you me. All one needs to make a good movie is a girl+ machine gun/chainsaw arm. You have to love it if you don't you might not have a soul and you should check into that.

Seriously, Check Into It,

It Isn't Circle Shaped

Here is a piece of the final art for the machine woman. I'm calling it "Machina". Did a different sketch of the woman and used a piece of the arm from the other one. I'm using a different approach to this. Let's see if it works.
Love It,

Is this the way to carry on?

So again i want to keep this blog alive. It is a part of me and where I would like to be. Also, Once i receive two paintings back i would love to post them because I'm sure people will enjoy how they look. For now I'm illustrating a quote. Maybe too literal but its an idea i would love to stick with.

The quote is this:
"Our body is a machine for living. It is organized for that, it is its nature. Let life go on in it unhindered and let it defend itself, it will do more than if you paralyze it by encumbering it with remedies." by Leo Tolstoy

So yeah the sketch is the main idea and i may change a few things with the medicines. But for now I'm digging the way this illustration is moving so enjoy,
